STAG provides an unrivalled spares and stock management service to the aviaton and defence industries.
The company aims to offer the same level of service to military operations as that expected by the civil market in terms of availability, quality and price.
STAG is a recognised distributor of aerospace parts for leading manufacturers, which include BAE Systems, Westland Helicopters, Bearing manufacturers Barden, SNR and Nadella. The group counts the UK Ministry of Defence as well as most of the major NATO forces as part of its customer base.
Components and parts procurement can safely be left in the hands of STAG staff with complete confidence while the customers concentrate on their own core business. Thanks to the STAG stores management system aircraft are kept operational and not grounded due to lack of components.
This is achieved by the expert use of a wide-ranging approved supplier base, the holding of critical stock, the packing of items to customer requirements and a thorough quality inspection system. To complement this STAG operates its own in-house forecasting system for major customers to predict demand and ensure that orders are placed on suppliers to ensure timely delivery to the point of use.
STAG offers a flexible bespoke service to meet each individual requirement. This ranges from major supply contracts, stock management, supply chain management, direct line feed and distribution contracts down to one off ad-hoc supply. All items sent for repair and overhaul or which need to be returned to the manufacturer under a warranty agreement are monitored from receipt through to delivery back to the end use customer and with the relevant documentation completed. STAG has also negotiated fixed price repairs on a wide range of units so customers know before they send the goods what their costs will be — in every sense STAG offers a total solution service to operators and end use customers.
