News — By admin on September 14, 2011 8:38 amArnold Wragg are delighted to announce the recruitment of two graduates, Andy Hales BSc, Joanne Sayles BSc and two apprentices Glenn Howard & Yaser Rauf.
Joanne joined Arnold Wragg after achieving an excellent 1st in Management Communication and Technology from Sheffield Hallam. Joanne said “I was delighted to join the team so soon after completing my degree and it has been such a strong and driven team, committed to the growth of the company. The team work and dedication I have seen at Arnold Wragg has been really impressive and is such a powerful force driving the company forward. The company as a whole is 100% committed to the future, which can be seen in every aspect of the business and is extremely prominent with their recent recruitment!”
Andrew Hales states “I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to prove myself within Arnold Wragg. I am very proud of my achievements during my three years at Sheffield Hallam and have been rewarded with an engineering position at a prosperous company. I have gained a 2.1 degree in Aerospace Technology where I have acquired a good understanding of leading edge engineering principles and practices. In my position at Arnold Wragg I have top level support from fellow engineers and am always building on the knowledge gained from my education. I find that my role within the company is very rewarding and enjoyable; my effective performance has been met with growth and recognition.”
Glenn remarked on his time here “I have chosen an apprenticeship as they are very positive and forward looking programmes. Arnold Wragg gives me on the job training and much needed experience for the future. Arnold Wragg offers me a wide range of skills to learn along with supportive and highly skilled mentors. I am enjoying my apprenticeship with Arnold Wragg, learning precision aerospace engineering and I am willing to take my apprenticeship further.”
Yaser Rauf also shared his views “To work for a leading aerospace supplier is amazing. I have learnt so many different skills while I have been here; I find it very rewarding to manufacture finished components from exotic material and super alloys. My manager and supervisor are very supportive and really helpful. It is fascinating to see how well everyone works as a team at Arnold Wragg. I am learning new engineering skills from the best and and very excited about my future at Arnold Wragg. I would definitely encourage other people to apply for Arnold Wragg, because it’s a very good way of learning and setting yourself up for a career with excellent long-term prospects”
